Motor Control & Motion

SERVO & VFD TROUBLESHOOTING IN ORLANDO, FL.

Industrial drive diagnostics for packaging machinery, conveyors and automated production equipment across Orlando and Central Florida.

Servo Drive Troubleshooting

Servo problems can appear as position errors, following errors, overcurrent alarms, encoder faults, communication faults or unexpected machine motion. IDS works from the alarm and machine behavior toward the electrical, feedback, parameter, controls or mechanical condition causing the problem.

VFD Troubleshooting

Variable frequency drive issues can stop motors, conveyors, pumps and packaging functions. We investigate trips, speed problems, motor-control faults, wiring, control signals, parameters and connected equipment before recommending the next corrective step.

Common Drive Problems We Investigate

  • Servo or VFD alarm codes and repeated trips
  • Motor will not start, stops unexpectedly or runs at the wrong speed
  • Encoder and feedback problems
  • Communication faults between PLC and drive
  • Incorrect or lost parameter settings
  • Overcurrent, overload and overvoltage conditions
  • Intermittent motion and synchronization problems
  • Wiring, I/O and control-signal issues

Drive Problems on Packaging Machinery

Servo and VFD systems are common on packaging machinery, including film-feed assemblies, sealing systems, dosing equipment and conveyors. When a drive fault is connected to machine logic or sequencing, our PLC and controls troubleshooting service can help isolate the interaction between systems.

Service Area

IDS is based in Orlando and serves industrial customers throughout Central Florida, including Orlando, Kissimmee, Davenport, Lakeland and surrounding manufacturing areas. For urgent downtime, see our emergency industrial service.
