Vertical form-fill-seal machines combine film handling, sealing, dosing, motion control, sensors, pneumatics and PLC logic. A fault in any one of these systems can create poor package quality, intermittent stops or complete machine downtime.

Film Tracking & Registration Problems
Film drift, inconsistent registration and feed problems may involve rollers, tension, alignment, sensors, print-mark detection, servo motion or machine settings. IDS evaluates the machine behavior and related systems before recommending adjustments or component work.
Sealing & Package Quality Problems
Poor seals can involve temperature, pressure, dwell time, jaw condition, timing, film behavior or upstream product interference. Troubleshooting should consider both the sealing assembly and the controls that determine when and how it operates.
VFFS Electrical Troubleshooting, PLC & Motion Control
For control-system symptoms, IDS provides PLC and controls troubleshooting. Drive alarms, encoder faults and motion problems can be addressed through servo and VFD troubleshooting. Electrical faults can also be investigated through our industrial electrical service.
Filling, Dosing & Conveyors
A VFFS machine may depend on upstream filling or dosing equipment and downstream conveyors. IDS can troubleshoot synchronization and machine-to-machine interactions when the packaging line does not run as a coordinated system.
